    “Great place, friendly staff”

We only stayed one night here because we had already booked a tour with accommodation. Great hotel though: clean, very friendly staff & in the middle of Siem Reap. Would have loved to stay more then one night. And our driver Ry is such a great guy!

“Best hidden secret in Siem Reap”

We were lucky to score an Agoda mobile deal which split 2 ways as being cheaper than a dorm bed, on top of which we got upgraded to a deluxe room! The room was ornately decorated, very well-stocked with amenities (including an easy-to-use safe), and the hotel grounds were gorgeous. Our favourite part was the pool, so incredibly beautiful and usually uninhabited. The staff are all very courteous and helpful with any issues. The breakfast is decent; we loved the fact there's a fresh to order menu in addition to a fresh fresh fruit plate everyday). The welcome (virgin) mojito is not only a very welcome touch in the hot Cambodian sun, but it was also delicious as well. The only thing is the General Manager should not be berating his Khmer Manager in front of customers, as we saw - or at all for that matter. He should treat his employees more professionally, no matter what the issue. TIP: check out "Popeye" across the street, the drinks are cheap (special free beer promo this week), and service is great. We're glad we extended our stay and would love to stay again!

    “very nice place for vocation”

My experience of 5 nights stay was pleasant and fantastic! It's quietly located in the back street near to Pub Street, with walking... near Pub-street walk 5minute the rooms are large and cozy, the staff is friendly and the swimming pool is a delight

Beautiful and friendly staff. Great location. Ground floor room recommended!

We arrived at this hotel from the airport curtesy of a free tuk tuk ride put on by the hotel! We stayed in a ground floor room with no windows. It was a spacious room and the aircon was great. The bottom rooms appear better as you have a seating area and chairs outside your room and your closer to the pool :-) I don't see the big thing about having a window? Their are no amazing views so I would recommend a ground floor room. The hotel is hidden away which is great for peace and quiet when your are ready for bed I suppose. But the hotel is minutes away from atmosphere. The walk to pub street is not long but allows you to see locals and better options for food rather than just tourist central!! The breakfast is egg of any kind but I love a scrambled egg on toast to start my morning. You also get a big plate of fruit :-) if you are staying here long enough to get sick of an egg option then their are millions of restaurants selling breakfast around the corner for cheap! The pool serves its purpose! Cools you down and long enough to stretch your legs. Only a few sun beds in the sun but it's that humid and hot! Laying in that sun for longer than 30 minutes is horrific! If you want a tan go to the beach!! Therefore sheltered sun beds was pleasing :-) I would 100% come back here. Very cheap for a very good hotel, that has a more apartment feel than hotel.

Great hotel with a great location!

We stayed here for four nights in the third week of March. The staff was excellent! Always smiling and right there to help with anything we needed. Our room was pretty nice, but had a slight odor to it the first day, and the wifi was just awful. However, the pool was fantastic, and the free breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. They even packed us a breakfast to go when we left really early one morning for the temples. The location is a very easy, short walk to the night market and pub street, so enjoying the night life is super easy. The air con was a blessing, as the heat was brutal when we were there. Overall, I would happily stay again.

Don't let the location to put you off this hotel. The staff is probably the most amazing I've ever encountered anywhere in SE Asia. They will definitely do the extra mile to help you. We had a problem with out booking and had to use a different room than the one booked on the first night and they offered us a free massage, I have to tell that I fell asleep during the massage, heaven!! They will assign you with a tuk-tuk driver if you request so and even not having anything else to see around we paid ours an extra day just to keep him. Walkable distance to the pub street and the night market but secluded enough to be quiet and calm. The swimming pool is really relaxing and exactly what you need after a day sightseeing. Book this hotel now but please keep it secret!!!

    Highly recommended

Really good hotel and full value for money. Beautiful building and layout, with a green garden and a great pool. Staff is very helpfull and friendly, but at the same time also respect the privacy of the guests. We stayed in two spacious double rooms on the second floor for four days. Breakfast is good; choise of eggs and yoghurt with lots of fresh fruit. If you want to stay in the centre of Siem Reap the location is perfect - it's close to markets and restaurants (5 min walk), but on a quiet sideway. Would love to stay here again.

    “Best Customer Service. ”

Secrets facility was very clean. The A/C worked very well, amenities in the bathroom had it all and included toothpaste and toothbrushes. Multiple outlets were in the room and the cable worked well. The pool was amazing and the breakfast was good. The best thing of all though was the service. The service provided in my opinion matched ones at the JW Marriott. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, some English well, and accommodated everything we asked for. When you heck in they take the time to sit you down in their lobby and explain your stay and options you have as a tourist. Two other examples included making a tuna sandwich for our friends who arrived very late and didn't have dinner. They made it after the kitchen was closed. The second example was we checked out at noon and out flight wasn't until that night so they held our bags for us and when we came back from walking around in the day they gave us a key to a room to shower before we headed to the airport without asking. In addition the staff makes you feel very comfortable around them. We cam back around midnight one night and three of them were in the lobby and laughing and smiling sharing a couple stories of what the city is like during new year. The only critique I have is that I got a few bug bites while sleeping but believe that you would get that in any hotel in Siem Reap. Oh, and the Tuk Tuk driver Sokha was AWESOME. He was knowledgeable, kind, warm, approachable, service oriented, and we never felt we were being pressured to do anything or go anywhere. He provided options and did whatever we asked. We got him a lot of water and snacks but kept refusing them. Very professional. Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple

Location in a calm oasis but outside in the middle of the city so perfect base to explore. No complaints whatsoever. Very good luxury hotel in siem reap!

    “Great location and staff”

We had booked 3 nights here but the staff is so amazing we decided to stay another 3 nights. They have gone out of their way to help us find everything from the best therapeutic massage ( I had a fall) recommended restaurants although theirs is also good. Great breakfast is included. I wanted a pair of shorts hemmed and Thida sent them out for me. Thank you Eng Thida,Kheang, Tola, Vanarith, Rachana and Phanith for making our stay so wonderful! “Wonderful staff and hotel. 100% recommend.”

Siem Reap Cambodia Gateway to the Temple of Angkor An island set in a rice paddy countryside, the provincial capital of Siem Reap City serves as the gateway to the millennium-old ruins of the Khmer Empire of Angkor. Siem Reap City is where you will probably stay during your visit, just 15 minutes from the temples. The town offers a large and varied choice of accommodations, from boutique hotels and 5-star resorts to dozens of mid-range places and budget digs. But it’s the restaurants, shoping and nightlife where Siem Reap outdoes itself - the amazingly varied dining choices, the vibrant night scene, and uniquely Cambodian shopping opportunities.

    “An unforgettable hotel experience ”

The Secret Pavilion Hotel was truly amazing from the beginning to the very end. First, we were met with a warm welcome at the airport by one of the hotel staff members who picked us up on a "Tuk Tuk" (a form of transportation in Cambodia). Once we got to the hotel, i immediately fell in love with the scenery. The atmosphere, the scenery just gives you this "at home" feeling and the staff members also played a major role. Everyone was soo welcoming. We were greeted with complementary drinks and were helped with our luggages. Also, each guest are served complementary breakfast in the morning. Next, the rooms were spacious and clean with fresh towels every morning. The pool and the food was to die for!! And the location of the hotel is perfect. Its secluded enough that you're able to sleep peacefully, but also close enough to walk to the night markets, different exotic restaurants, and we can't forget pub street. If you don't feel like walking, the hotel staff would arrange a tuk tuk to take you to your desired destination. Finally, towards the end of our stay we planned to go to Sihanoukville, Cambodia and the staff members went above & beyond by booking our transportation from point A to point B (whether if it was either by plane/bus/boat they booked it for us). So once again, I highly recommend to stay at the Secrets Pavilion. I hope this helps you in your decision making. Enjoy your trip Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends

“Fantastic stay, very friendly and great location!”

With so many hotels in Siem Reap it is difficult to choose one. I got a recommendation for this place from my collegue and we had great stay! Very close to the center, just a few minutes walk but quiet because it is in a small alley. Supermarket around the corner, very friendly staff, good rooms, clean, new, even a swimmingpool. We stayed in the family bungalow for 7 nights and had a fantastic time. So we highly recommend this hotel.

“Great team makes for excellent stay.”

This hotel is nice and clean. Pretty basic and simple, but well maintained and organized. Location is in an alleyway off soksan road. Not in the center but still walkable distance from pub street. Breakfast is average or less, lacked fresh vegetables etc, but still manageable. The bright side of this property is kind and attentive team that helped me with few requests and in general were eager to satisfy. The hotel also provided an airport pickup and allowed a late check out, great gesture that gave me extra time to enjoy the pool and the day before leaving to the airport. Thanks again, I definitely recommend it as an option for that price range.

“Fabulous staff, central location, lovely and quiet”

The staff here are simply wonderful. They are very helpful, organizing trips and tours in a friendly and efficient manner. Despite arriving on two different flights, they were happy to come to the airport twice to collect us. The rooms had a calm, relaxing, cool feel - just want you want after stomping around temples all day. Top marks all round! Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends

    Always delighted to stay here

This tucked away, but still central to the pup street hotel is my favorite Choice while in Siem Reap. The clean swimming pool and rooms make my mainly business stays very pleasant. The only thing to improve... Why not offer Khmer breakfast in Cambodia ? Khmer noodle soup or rice would be a nice difference from the boring egg they offer.... Otherwise great place

"Susadi" ("hello", in khmer) Our experience at Secrets Pavilion was amazing from beginning to end.Your greeted with AUTHENTIC smiles , cool towels and welcome drink after long travels. Our room was exactly as pictured with all amenities, right next to the pool and of a decent size. The bathroom however reeked of an unpleasant smell but did not permeate into our room. The hotel room is stocked with complimentary water, robes and toiletries and cleaned daily. The property here is so beautiful and well kept, sort of majestic with all of the butterflies fluttering around here. Breakfast was included in our rate which consisted of about 4-5 simple breakfast options (eggs- scrambled, fried, poached, muesli, etc) with assorted beverages such as OJ, tea and coffee. We tried the in house dinning and ordered a mix of western dishes and khmer dishes and they were quite delicious (just a bit expensive, compared to outside prices, but no biggie). The pool was a treat to enjoy given the heat in the country (but not enough sun near the pool area- not much they can do about that though, again no biggie) the location is close enough to walk to Pub St and all the action (10 mins) but far away to enjoy the tranquility this property offers. There is always a tuk tuk available at your service to drive you to town for about 2.00. We did the small circuit tour of the temples and booked through the hotel which was an easy process and very affordable. We were provided with cold water and pick up and drop off services throughout the temple tour. The real gem here are the staff who were some of the kindest we've encountered. Genuine in their interactions with you. It was always a beautiful sight to be greeted with their smiles after a day of exploring. The staff went above and beyond for me and my friend, helping us book our onward journey tickets, cancelling a portion of a r/t airfare and ensuring our well being. they even allowed us to freshen up in our room even after checkout in the evening, free of charge! We took the opportunity to learn some Khmer phrases from the staff and they couldn't have been any more pleased when we interacted with them. Special shoutout goes to Tola, Rom, Thida, Manager and the gentleman who helped us with our onward ticket, they were an extremely a big part of the enjoyment of our stay there. without saying anything, they would know exactly what we needed before we knew we needed it haha. do yourself the honor of staying here with the beautiful staff and property- you wont regret it!

    “Seems a 4* ”

We have really appreciated the warm welcome with lemon tea and smooth check-in. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, the surrounding very silent at night (which shall not be underestimated since pub street is just a five min walk), pool area too, the restaurant serves excellent local khmer cuisine and has also some western items on the menu. Sweet potato fries are excellent... I have tried the hot bamboo massage and it was an amazing experience. Go for it. As for the staff, Khmer hospitality is awesome, serene, easy to go with, helpful in arranging our transportation and the trip to Angkor. They really are an added value. My only negative remark goes to the situation outside the hotel, the street that leads to the Pavilion has to be adjusted, garbage cleaned, but it's a widespread issue in the whole town. We would definitely come back! Thank you Danny, Fos, Brek and all the staff for making our stay comfortable. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple

The service was the best. The staff is friendly and caring. They offer good prices for your trip to angkor wat, which is a place you definitely want to go. The swimming pool is cool and calming for the hot weather. If I were to visit Siem Reap again, I would definitely revisit.

The best service I've had in Asia, well looked after with a great location and excellent facilities.

The staff are exceptional, very friendly and well trained, service has been a focus of management and it is evident with their presentation and communication to guests, nothing is a problem and needs are anticipated. Danny the manager goes the extra mile and one of the best Ive encountered, Thind has a big smile and very engaging thank you! Fos a professional young up and coming well done! the owner, needs to relax his grip and trust in his judgment of employing the right staff in the first place... just saying. In addition. My tuk tuk driver was awesome, good local knowledge and the best way to get around, totally recommend Ah Bng, thank you my friend The only suggestion would be to put the complimentary two bottles of water in the fridge instead of by the bed, its great coming home to cold water:)
